Private Transfer to Rusutsu
Private transfers with personalized meeting service can be arranged: Jumbo taxis for up to 7 people with luggage, or regular size taxis for 2 people with luggage. For larger groups, a pre-booked private transfer is the most simple and hassle-free option.

Airport Shuttle Bus to Rusutsu
A dedicated shuttle runs between Rusutsu Ski Resort and New Chitose Airport, and the trip takes approximately 2 hours.

Shuttle Price 2023-2024 Season:
New Chitose Airport → Rusutsu from 5,000 yen per person
One way 5,000 JPY (the same fare applies to adults and children) per seat
No fare is charged for children aged 2 or younger who do not need a seat.
Inter-resort Shuttles to Rusutsu
Hokkaido ski resorts are rather well connected by shuttle buses. Rusutsu is connected to Furano, Tomamu, Sapporo city, and Niseko by shuttle bus; Ski Japan Holidays can arrange the first three routes up until one week before travel, as long as seats are available. Transfers to Niseko must be booked directly with the provider Donan Bus, your hotel reception will be able to assist you, otherwise call +81-136-22-1558 from an international phone, or 0136-22-1558 from a Japanese phone.

Rental Car Travel to Rusutsu
If you plan to rent a vehicle to drive to Rusutsu, you will have the choice of a number of rental stores in either Sapporo city, or New Chitose Airport. Please note rental cars are very popular in Hokkaido, pre-booking through one of the following English websites is highly recommended.
Foreign visitors driving in Japan will require not only their valid driver’s license from their own country, but also a valid international driver’s license.
