Whilst trains do not get you right to Kiroro, a popular transfer method is to take a train to Otaru station, and then a taxi or bus to Kiroro resort. You may like to spend some time at Otaru visiting the older port harbour, the famous glass shops, or any other of the gorgeous trinket and souvenir shops around town.
